LoadGen Server Stress - Start Test for Fault Tolerant Server

This automated test measures the stress load on a fault tolerant server. This test does the following:

  1. Copies test files to the Master Client.

  2. Runs the test on the Master Client.

  3. Copies the test logs after the test finishes.

Running the test

Before you run the test:

  1. Verify the test setup as described in the test requirements: System Server Testing Prerequisites and Test Server Configuration.

  2. Run LoadGen Server Stress - Run First - Set Machine Policies first, to setup the correct machine policy settings.

  3. From HLK Studio, select and run the test:

    1. Navigate to the Selection tab
    2. Right-click on the SUT and select Add/Modify Features
    3. In the features dialog, select System.Server.FaultTolerant and click OK
    4. Navigate to the Tests tab
    5. Select LoadGen Server Stress - Start Test for Fault Tolerant Server
    6. Click the Run Selected link
    7. In the Schedule dialog, map machines to roles
      1. Enter the folder path for OEMDLLLocation
      2. Use the Role dropdown to select machine for the MC role (SUT will be prepopulated)
    8. Click OK to schedule the test
