Converts a value of type LONG to a value of type UINT8.

Syntax

HRESULT LongToUInt8(
  [in]  LONG  lOperand,
  [out] UINT8 *pui8Result
);

Parameters

[in] lOperand

The value to convert.

[out] pui8Result

The converted value.

Return value

If this function succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
