IPixFactory::OpenDxDumpFileDocument method

Opens a DirectX Dump file.

Syntax

HRESULT OpenDxDumpFileDocument(
    LPCWSTR filename,
    IPixLogging * logger,
    IPixProgressNotifications * openDumpNotifications,
    IPixCancellationToken * cancellationToken,
    REFIID riid,
    void ** document);

Parameters

filename [in]

The name of the file to open.

logger [in]

Logging callback for all logs related to the dump file (optional).

openDumpNotifications [in]

Notification callback for progress updates on opening the dump file (optional).

cancellationToken [in]

Cancellation token to cancel opening the dump (optional).

riid [in]

The interface IID of the document to be returned. Expected: IPixDxDumpFileDocument.

document [out]

Pointer to the returned interface.

Returns

S_OK if the document was opened successfully, otherwise an error code.
