Get samples for a counter in a counter set.
Syntax
HRESULT GetSamples(
IPixGpuCaptureHighFrequencyCounterCollection * counterSet,
IPixGpuCaptureHighFrequencyCounter * counter,
UINT64 * batchId,
UINT64 * count,
const UINT64 ** timestampsInNanoseconds,
const double ** values);
Parameters
counterSet [in]
The counter set that contains the counter to retrieve samples for.
counter [in]
The counter to retrieve samples for. Must belong to the specified counter set.
batchId [out]
Receives the batch ID for the returned samples. All counters in the same batch are guaranteed to be collected in the same pass and have the same timestamps. Counters in different batches may or may not have the same timestamps.
count [out]
The number of elements in the arrays returned by timestampsInNanoseconds and values.
timestampsInNanoseconds [out]
Receives a pointer to the array of timestamps (in nanoseconds), one per sample. The array is owned by the interface and remains valid for the lifetime of this object.
values [out]
Receives a pointer to the array of counter values, one per sample, parallel to timestampsInNanoseconds. The array is owned by the interface and remains valid for the lifetime of this object.
Returns
S_OK if retrieving the samples was successful, otherwise an error code.
