IMediaEventSink::Notify method (strmif.h)
[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The Notify method notifies the Filter Graph Manager of an event.
Syntax
HRESULT Notify(
[in] long EventCode,
[in] LONG_PTR EventParam1,
[in] LONG_PTR EventParam2
);
Parameters
[in] EventCode
Identifier of the event.
[in] EventParam1
First event parameter.
[in] EventParam2
Second event parameter.
Return value
Returns an HRESULT value.
Remarks
