IAppxBlockMapFile::ValidateFileHash method (appxpackaging.h)

Validates the content of a file against the hashes stored in the block elements for this block map file.

Syntax

HRESULT ValidateFileHash(
  [in]          IStream *fileStream,
  [out, retval] BOOL    *isValid
);

Parameters

[in] fileStream

Type: IStream*

The stream that contains the file's contents. The stream must support Read, Seek, and Stat. If these methods fail, their error codes might be passed to and returned by this method.

[out, retval] isValid

Type: BOOL*

TRUE if the file hash validates; otherwise, FALSE.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
