IMFMediaEngineEx::IsProtected method (mfmediaengine.h)

Queries whether the media resource contains protected content.

Syntax

HRESULT IsProtected(
  [out] BOOL *pProtected
);

[out] pProtected

Receives the value TRUE if the media resource contains protected content, or FALSE otherwise.

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
