IMFPMediaItem::GetMediaPlayer method (mfplay.h)

Important Deprecated. This API may be removed from future releases of Windows. Applications should use the Media Session for playback.

Gets a pointer to the MFPlay player object that created the media item.

Syntax

HRESULT GetMediaPlayer(
  [out] IMFPMediaPlayer **ppMediaPlayer
);

[out] ppMediaPlayer

Receives a pointer to the player object's IMFPMediaPlayer interface. The caller must release the interface.

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
