Opens the specified scope type.

Syntax

HRESULT OpenScopeOnITypeInfo(
  [in]  ITypeInfo *pITI,
  [in]  DWORD     dwOpenFlags,
  [in]  REFIID    riid,
  [out] IUnknown  **ppIUnk
);

Parameters

[in] pITI

Pointer to an ITypeInfo interface that provides the type information on which to open the scope.

[in] dwOpenFlags

The open mode flags.

[in] riid

The desired interface.

[out] ppIUnk

Pointer to a pointer to the returned interface.

Return value

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
