Creates a specified band.

Syntax

HRESULT CreateBand(
  [in]  REFCLSID rclsidBand,
  [in]  BOOL     fAvailable,
  [in]  BOOL     fVisible,
  [in]  REFIID   riid,
  [out] void     **ppv
);

Parameters

[in] rclsidBand

Type: REFCLSID

A reference to a CLSID. Used to ensure a duplicate band is not created.

[in] fAvailable

Type: BOOL

Specifies band availability.

[in] fVisible

Type: BOOL

Specifies band visibility.

[in] riid

Type: REFIID

A reference to a desired IID.

[out] ppv

Type: void**

Contains the address of a pointer to a band specified by riid.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
