IAssocHandler::GetName method (shobjidl_core.h)

Retrieves the full path and file name of the executable file associated with the file type.

Syntax

HRESULT GetName(
  [out] LPWSTR *ppsz
);

Parameters

[out] ppsz

Type: LPWSTR*

When this method returns, contains the address of a pointer to a null-terminated, Unicode string that contains the full path of the file, including the file name.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
