IShellFolder2::MapColumnToSCID method (shobjidl_core.h)

Converts a column to the appropriate property set ID (FMTID) and property ID (PID).

Syntax

HRESULT MapColumnToSCID(
  [in]  UINT       iColumn,
  [out] SHCOLUMNID *pscid
);

Parameters

[in] iColumn

Type: UINT

The column ID.

[out] pscid

Type: SHCOLUMNID*

A pointer to an SHCOLUMNID structure containing the FMTID and PID.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
