IShellItem::GetParent method (shobjidl_core.h)

Gets the parent of an IShellItem object.

Syntax

HRESULT GetParent(
  IShellItem **ppsi
);

Parameters

ppsi

Type: IShellItem**

The address of a pointer to the parent of an IShellItem interface.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.
