IUIAutomationTextRange::Clone method (uiautomationclient.h)

Retrieves a new IUIAutomationTextRange identical to the original and inheriting all properties of the original.

Syntax

HRESULT Clone(
  [out, retval] IUIAutomationTextRange **clonedRange
);

[out, retval] clonedRange

Receives a pointer to the new text range.

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

The new range can be manipulated independently of the original.
