EngMapModule function (winddi.h)

The EngMapModule function returns the address and size of a file that was loaded by EngLoadModule, EngLoadModuleForWrite, EngLoadImage, or EngMapFile.

Syntax

  [in] HANDLE h,
  [in] PULONG pSize
);

[in] h

Handle to the file to be memory-mapped.

[in] pSize

Pointer to a memory location that receives the size, in bytes, of the memory-mapped file.

EngMapModule returns a pointer to the view of the file identified by h.

A driver can open and read a file using EngLoadModule and EngMapModule.
