IRecoverableErrorData::Initialize method (winsync.h)

Initializes the object by using the specified display name of the item that caused the error and a description of the error.

Syntax

HRESULT Initialize(
  [in] LPCWSTR pcszItemDisplayName,
  [in] LPCWSTR pcszErrorDescription
);

[in] pcszItemDisplayName

The display name of the item that caused the error.

[in] pcszErrorDescription

The description of the error.

The possible return codes include, but are not limited to, the values shown in the following table.

Return code	Description
S_OK	The method succeeded.
E_OUTOFMEMORY
Provider-determined error codes.
