IsCharAlphaNumericW function (winuser.h)
Determines whether a character is either an alphabetical or a numeric character. This determination is based on the semantics of the language selected by the user during setup or through Control Panel.
BOOL IsCharAlphaNumericW( [in] WCHAR ch );
The character to be tested.
If the character is alphanumeric, the return value is nonzero.
If the character is not alphanumeric, the return value is zero. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.
The winuser.h header defines IsCharAlphaNumeric as an alias which automatically selects the ANSI or Unicode version of this function based on the definition of the UNICODE preprocessor constant. Mixing usage of the encoding-neutral alias with code that not encoding-neutral can lead to mismatches that result in compilation or runtime errors. For more information, see Conventions for Function Prototypes.
