ID3DXBaseEffect::GetMatrixTransposePointerArray method

Gets an array of pointers to transposed matrices.

Syntax

HRESULT GetMatrixTransposePointerArray(
  [in]  D3DXHANDLE hParameter,
  [out] D3DXMATRIX **ppMatrix,
  [in]  UINT       Count
);

Parameters

hParameter [in]

Type: D3DXHANDLE

Unique identifier. See Handles (Direct3D 9).

ppMatrix [out]

Type: D3DXMATRIX**

Array of pointers to transposed matrices. See D3DXMATRIX.

Count [in]

Type: UINT

Number of matrices in the array.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If the method succeeds, the return value is D3D_OK. If the method fails, the return value can be D3DERR_INVALIDCALL.

Remarks

A transposed matrix contains column-major data; that is, each vector is contained in a column.

If the destination matrices are larger than the source matrices, only the upper-left components of each destination matrix will be filled, and the remaining destination matrix components will be set to zero.
