CBaseRenderer.EndOfStream method
[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. The EndOfStream method notifies the filter that the input pin received an end-of-stream notification.
Syntax
HRESULT EndOfStream();
Parameters
This method has no parameters.
Return value
Returns S_OK.
Remarks
The filter's input pin calls this method when it receives an end-of-stream notification.
This method sets the CBaseRenderer::m_bEOS flag to TRUE and calls the CBaseRenderer::SendEndOfStream method to schedule an EC_COMPLETE event. If the filter is paused and waiting for a sample, this method completes the state transition.
