Msvm_Processor class

Represents the virtual processor in a virtual machine.

The following syntax is simplified Managed Object Format (MOF) code, and it includes all of the inherited properties.

The processor address width, in bits. This property is inherited from CIM_Processor, and the value is either 32 or 64, depending on the characteristics of the virtual machine.

The primary availability and status of the device. This property is inherited from CIM_LogicalDevice, but it is not used.

AvailableRequestedStates

CommunicationStatus

CreationClassName

Qualifiers: MaxLen (256)

The name of the class or subclass used in the creation of an instance. When used with other key properties of the class, this property allows all instances of the class and its subclasses to be uniquely identified. This property is inherited from CIM_LogicalDevice.

CurrentClockSpeed

Access type: Read-only

The maximum speed of the physical processor, taking into account the capacity for the virtual processor. This property is inherited from CIM_Processor.

DataWidth

Access type: Read-only

The processor data width, in bits. This property is inherited from CIM_Processor, and the value is either 32 or 64, depending on the characteristics of the virtual machine.

ElementName

EnabledDefault

An administrator's default or startup configuration for the Enabled State of an element. This property is inherited from CIM_EnabledLogicalElement.

ErrorCleared

The recorded history of percentage of the total processing power being consumed by the virtual machine. This is an array containing samples.

MaxClockSpeed

The maximum clock speed, in megahertz, of the virtual processor. This property is inherited from CIM_Processor.

MaxQuiesceTime

PrimaryStatus

Provides high level status information. This property should be used in conjunction with the DetailedStatus property to provide high level and detailed health status of the element and its subcomponents. Role

A string that describes the role of the processor. For example, "Central Processor" or "Math Processor". This property is inherited from CIM_Processor.

The name of the scoping system. This value corresponds to the value of the Name property of the Msvm_ComputerSystem class for the scoping virtual machine. This property is inherited from CIM_LogicalDevice.

TimeOfLastStateChange

Data type: datetime

Access type: Read-only

The date or time at which the virtual machine's state was changed. If the state of the element has not changed and this property is populated, then it must be set to a 0 interval value. If a state change was requested, but rejected or not yet processed, the property must not be updated. This property is inherited from CIM_EnabledLogicalElement.

TotalPowerOnHours

Data type: uint64

Access type: Read-only

The total number of hours that this device has been powered. This property is inherited from CIM_LogicalDevice, but it is not used.

TransitioningToState

Data type: uint16

Access type: Read-only

Indicates the target state to which the instance is transitioning. This property is inherited from CIM_EnabledLogicalElement, but it is not used.

UniqueID

Data type: string

Access type: Read-only

A globally unique identifier for the processor. This identifier can only be unique within a processor family. This property is inherited from CIM_Processor, and it is always set to Null.

UpgradeMethod

Data type: uint16

Access type: Read-only

The CPU socket information, which includes data on how to upgrade the processor (if upgrades are supported). This property is inherited from CIM_Processor.
