TAPI 3's Rendezvous API is a group of Component Object Model (COM) interfaces that can be used to advertise and discover multiparty multimedia conferences. The following material provides details on the objects, interfaces, and methods provided.
TAPI 3 uses DirectShow filters and filter managers to control the media stream following connection setup. COM is the basic coding model for TAPI 3, and familiarity with it is assumed throughout this document.
