I want to know what the difference between Android store app and managed google play app is. In which scenario I have to deploy Android Store apps. Can they be deployed to Users or Devices? Android store apps did not get installed on personal device with work profile and company device with work profile when I tried to push it out to users or devices as available or required.

@Thomas Aung Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For android store app, we can deploy to any android devices.

For android managed google play app, we need to deploy to android enterprise devices (including personally-owned work profile, dedicated, fully managed, and corporate-owned work profile enrollments).

Android store app and android managed google play app both can be deployed to User group and device group in required assignment. However, they only can be deployed to User group in available assignment.

For this issue, please check if the android store app is deployed to a user group in the available assignment, if yes, please install this app in company portal app.

If there is anything update, feel free to let us know.

It's not working for me either. I copy the URL from Play Store, set it as Android Store app, assign it to the appropriate user group and the app doesn't show up anywhere, neither in company portal nor in managed Google Play Store. And I've tried it with BYOD and COPE devices.
