Hello,

Since Android 12, we're not able to use serial numbers and IMEI numbers as a point of reference before enrolling BYOD devices. Is there another reference point we can use to distinguish this?

@mpark714 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

Based on my understanding, there is no method to make it for Android 12 devices. If possible, could you please clarify why did you want to distinguish this before enrolling devices?

Generally, it is not needed to distinguish personal devices or corporate devices, because when you use different enrollment methods to enroll devices, these devices' ownership will change.

For example, when you use BYOD enrollment method, the device ownship only shows "personal".

    Hope it will clarify something.
