Azure AI Video Indexer summarize the video option

Question

Is there any option to summarize the video content for the uploaded video in Azure AI Video Indexer?

We can see the timeline option, which can be used to transcript the video but it doesn't say what the video content the overall video talks about.

but that doesn't contain any insight about the overall summary of the video(eg- if we upload the how to fix bike engine video the summary must show this video talks about how to fix the bike engine )

I apologize for the delayed response and if any confusion caused in this regard. When a video is indexed, Azure AI Video Indexer analyzes the video and audio content by running 30+ AI models, generating rich insights.

Insights contain an aggregated view of the data: transcripts, optical character recognition elements (OCRs), face, topics, emotions, etc. Once the video is indexed and analyzed, Azure AI Video Indexer produces a JSON content that contains details of the video insights. For example, each insight type includes instances of time ranges that show when the insight appears in the video. See Video/audio AI features for more information.

To answer your query, video summary feature is not available in Azure AI Video Indexer.

You can use Vision Studio to try out Azure AI Vision features quickly in your web browser. The summary feature is enabled only for the sample videos available on the page. The feature will be enabled in the future for videos uploaded by users. Currently, there is no ETA on the same.
