Locked out of Microsoft Account due to Authenticator App
I have been attempting to contact someone who can help me for over 14 days. I have been lock out of my microsoft account due to the Authenticator app not allowing me access. I have a new phone and didn't realise that transferring my details from one to the other would lock me out of my account. I have spoke to the help team who keep transferring me to the data protection dept even though i never get through and just remain on hold. I got given a ticket that does literally nothing. Every-time i try to log in it asks for me to use the authenticator app to sign in, and (this will make you chuckle) I try to set-up, install my account on the authenticator app but i need to use the app to confirm who i am to install the app.........I know right. 2024, a Billion / Trillion doller company and can i get any help! No. My issue is so straight forward, it literally needs someone to click a button at there office to allow me access. Can anybody suggest a way to resolve this.
