Empty OneNote, missing sections and pages

Question

A colleague of mine has a OneNote, shared with her team. She worked on this OneNote last Tuesday for the last time. Today she wanted to add something and saw that the OneNote was completely empty.

These missing sections and pages aren’t in the Deleted Notes.

As a test, I created a new section but this section also didn’t appear. When I looked in the Deleted Notes, there was my newly created section.

Is there a known problem with OneNote at the moment?

Is there something I can do to bring back the missing sections and pages?

Has this shared file expired?

Did you use the correct account to open the shared Notebook?

You can try to check if the Notebook works in OneNote for web.
