    Hi Helpdesk Milestone,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Unfortunately, once a resource group is deleted, it cannot be directly restored. As a last option you can reach out to support by raising a case and the Azure support team can investigate the situation and attempt to restore the resource group but only on a best-effort basis.

    Hi,
    Ref : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/database/recovery-using-backups?view=azuresql&tabs=azure-portal

If you delete a server, all of its databases and their PITR backups are also deleted. You can't restore a deleted server, and you can't restore the deleted databases from PITR backups. If you had configured LTR backups for those databases, you can use those backups to restore the databases to a different server.

You might want to create support request with Azure to see if the Azure SQL Server can be recovered or not. However, deleted resource group itself can not be recovered.

Suggestion for the future : Implement resource lock to avoide accidental changes to the Azure resources.
