Hello Gonzales, Caryl,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A and thank you for reaching out.
I understand that you are having issues with multiple users whose default printer keeps changing to a "virtual" printer such as the Adobe PDF printer
When multiple users experience their default printer changing to a "virtual" printer such as the Adobe PDF printer, it can be highly frustrating and disruptive. Try as much as possible to do the followings:
- Adobe Acrobat and Reader can sometimes change the default printer, you will have to prevent this by adjusting Adobe settings.
- Ensure that your Group Policy settings are not inadvertently setting the default printer to a virtual printer.
- Ensure the default printer is set correctly at the user level from Device and printer.
- Ensure all printer drivers are up-to-date and correctly installed.
- If users have roaming profiles, ensure that their printer settings are properly saved and loaded.
I hope this is helpful! Do not hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions.
