Shared a folder in OneDrive Personal but wont show in Windows Explorer

I have shared a folder from my personal OneDrive to a number of people as Direct Edit Access.

However it shows as a link in their OneDrive and when I click add shortcut to their OneDrive it only adds a hyperlink shortcut and not the folder to work with through Windows Explorer.

If someone can help as using this to share files between multiple people.

    Hi,

    Please Confirm that the recipients have the correct permissions. They should be able to add the shared folder to their own OneDrive. If the sharing link points to a folder, recipients may need to sign in with a Microsoft account.
