System Database Backups for Azure SQL Managed Instance

I don't see the ability to backup system databases for Azure SQL Managed Instance. If the server was lost I would lose server logins, backup information. Is there any documentation regarding why we don't have to backup these databases, and the steps we need to take to mitigate these potential data losses?

TIA

    Hi Chancellor, Joe,

We do not support COPY ONLY backup of system databases. That’s by design.

System databases (all but physical master) are being backed up by our automatic backups, so there won’t be any data loss.

Could you please explain more on “if server was lost"?

    Thanks

Support came back with this documentation:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/managed-instance/sql-managed-instance-paas-overview?view=azuresql#administration-features

They say that it says that backups of system databases are Microsoft's responsibility.
