How can I resolve an issue with my Dell Poweredge R530 running Windows Server 2016 that is stuck in an endless loop of "Preparing Windows" followed by restarting? I have tried several workarounds, including Startup Repair, Safemode, Safemode Network, Last known Good Configuration, and Health scans, but none have worked so far.

    Hello,

Try the following steps to attempt to resolve the issue:

Check Windows Event Viewer: Check the Windows Event Viewer for any error or warning messages that might provide clues about what is causing the endless loop. just like event 41,6008 and so on. Look for any recurring errors or critical events that could be related to the restart issue.

Update or Rollback Drivers: If you made any recent changes to drivers or software, consider rolling back to a previous configuration to see if that resolves the issue. Alternatively, ensure that all drivers and firmware are up to date.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider performing a repair installation of Windows Server 2016. This will attempt to repair the operating system without losing your data and installed programs.

    Best Regards,
