Hey!

I'm trying this exercise but get charged for creating an Azure SQL database resource. Is there a way to explore azure without getting charged?

    Hello Fanny Lööf,

    Thanks for your question.

There are a few options you can use to test azure free. See:

    1. Sign up for a free Azure account which provides you with credit for 30 days: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/
    2. If you are a student, you can get free access to certain Azure services without needing a credit card. See: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/students/
    3. You can also explore learn sanboxes. For example, for az 900: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/collections/7ppetn16mm3r3e

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

    Regards,

    Abiola

Also, in case if this is Azure SQL database specific,

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/database/free-offer?view=azuresql

You can create a free database per subscription.

Similarly there are other Azure offerings that provide some free monthly aspects which you can test across
