We have done the SharePoint Integration using MSGraph API. Now, by using the given API: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/driveitem-update?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http can only able to update the name column, can we also update the values of other column? Assume, I want to update the DocType column over here:

Any API to get the {item-id}, when we pass the name of the File or Folder as a Query Parameter or Resource Parameter?

To get {item-id} of a file, you should through file path.

Following Graph get id and path of all files, find file id based on corresponding file path.

GET https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/sites/{site-id}/lists/{list-id}/items?$select=id,webUrl

I can successfully able to get the {item-id} by passing the {site-id} & {list-id}, but I want to get the {item-id} by passing the Folder Name or File Name?

Please search the file by using file name through following graph.

POST Content-Type: application/json { "requests": [ { "entityTypes": [ "driveItem" ], "query": { "queryString": "images" } } ] }

In the results, you get the file webUrl, at the end of webUrl, the number is item id.

Getting the error: "SearchRequest Invalid (Region is required when request with application permission.)". I'm using Application Permission, and it seems this doesn't support Application permissions.

Currently, there are only two methods to get the {item-id}.

One way is to get the {item-id} by passing the {site-id} & {list-id}.

Another way is to use search query endpoint with delegated permission.

So, I suggest you grant the account with delegated permission to do graph search query.
