Hi

if I have an export in excel or i create an excel file with processor type i have on prem and core ram disk of the vms, how can I import it in azure pricing calculator? or how can i import them in some tool for sizing the right vm? Azure migrate doesn't indicate for every vm the sku type.

I would like to import a file with for example

processor intel e5 2670

3 vm with 8 core and 4 gb ram to wich azure sku should I go for?

i would like a tool that returns based on info that the best vm could be a DSv3 for example

azure doesn't have this feature, do you know if there is a 3d party tool?

thank you

    Hi Ares,

If you are looking into automating the calculator, I would recommend looking at:

    Azure Retail Prices overview

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/cost-management/retail-prices/azure-retail-prices

"Azure customers have been looking for a programmatic way to retrieve retail prices for all Azure services. Now you can use the Retail Rates Prices API to get retail prices for all Azure services. Previously, the only way that you could retrieve prices for Azure services was to either use the Azure Pricing Calculator or use the Azure portal. This API gives you an unauthenticated experience to get retail rates for all Azure services. Use the API to explore prices for Azure services against different regions and different SKUs. The programmatic API can also help you create your own tools for internal analysis and price comparison across SKUs and regions."
