Hi,

Does Microsoft Azure currently offer Alveo cards (e.g. https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps/xilinx.xilinx_xrt2021_1_ubuntu1804_deployment_image?tab=overview)? If so, what are the cards currently available (e.g U250)? Are these cards connected to the network directly (a physical connection between QSFP ports on the card to the network)?

Apart from Alveo cards, do you offer Intel FPGA cards with direct FPGA to network connection?

Thanks.

    Hello Yaswanth Tavva,

    Thanks for your question.

Yes, These cards are available in NP-series virtual machines.

No, they are not connected directly to the network through their QSFP ports in standard offerings.

    See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/np-series#frequently-asked-questions

For more details on specific deployment options and the latest updates, it is best to check the Azure Marketplace. See: https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/home
