Azure subscription - not sure exactly what parts of 365 this covers

I don't use virtual machines, just a directory sync from AD and A3 microsoft licenses & teams for our users. What does this mean? Is it just referring to being renamed entra ID?

    Azure subscription cancellation will not affect directory synchronization via Entra Connect - assuming of course that your Entra Connect components are NOT running on Azure VMs hosted by that subscription.
