Hello,
With many embedded devices, including those running Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 Classic, the situation isn’t as straightforward as with typical desktop Windows installations. Many OEM devices like the Zebra MC92NO come with a preactivated, “locked‐down” image where the licensing information (such as the product key) is embedded into the image or even the device’s hardware.
There typically isn’t a straightforward “registry key” value that you can extract and reuse for a reinstallation on these kinds of embedded devices. Your best course of action is to work with Zebra (or your vendor’s support team) to ensure that you have a proper recovery/reinstallation method in place for your devices.
