Dear Team,

we are using sql 2008 r2 after restart SQL Server Browser after that sql instance show in sql . this issue happen frequently ,Please suggest

    I would suggest you upgrade to a supported version, 2008R2 hasn't been in mainstream support for 8 years.

    To your specific issue, if you can't find the instance without browser running then you're using dynamic ports. Set the port to be default as 1433 and you shouldn't have the issue. If you want to keep using browser, then make sure it stays running. Look into the windows event logs to see why it is stopping.

    Could you please describe your problem more specifically?
    Do you mean the instances is not displayed in SQL Server configuration Manager after restarting SQL Server Browser? Or the instances cannot be displayed and connected in SSMS?
    Are there any error messages in error log which are located in Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50. \MSSQL\Log?
    Please try to install the latest SP for SQL Server 2008 R2.
