Where can I get a Windows Server 2012 r2 product key ?

Hello comunity,

I would like to know where can I get a Windows Server 2012 R2 product key. I need this server and not for just evaluation.

When I download the ISO, I found only the evaluation period but cant find where to get a product key.

Please help with this topic.

We can’t Buy Windows Server 2012 R2 for Microsoft official channel now. However, Many retailers still have 2012R2 in stock - Amazon, Newegg, etc.
If you purchase a Volume License edition, you would be purchasing Server 2016 or 2019 then you would have downgrade rights to 2012.

To obtain old version servers like Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard product key, you should get it directly from Microsoft Partners only like H-ypestkey.

No product key is required for the evaluation. The product key is embedded. You'll just need to connect to internet for long enough to activate the product then you can disconnect from internet for remainder of 180 day evaluation.

If you're looking to purchase you can buy Server 2019 from microsoft then exercise downgrade rights to get a lower version product key.
