Windows Update issue.

Hello guys!

Briefly: I have tried several times to search an updates for windows, but all the times i have the same massage: An error occurred. Try opening the settings again later.
I had tried to run a troubleshoot, but nothing happened.

Any advice?

    Dear Viktor Rolduhin

    Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

    You can refer to the following scenario to update Windows 11 to the latest version using iso.

    So to give you the steps to repair and install WINDOWS, first of all, it is recommended that you backup your important data on your C drive to an external device

    Download Windows 11

    Select Download tool now - perform Media creation tool - select Yes - select Accept - select Create installation media for another computer - select DVD ISO file - Save as local.

    Execute the local WINDOWS.ISO file-right click-mount-select execute setup.exe-select don't use it for now-select keep personal files and settings-select Next-wait for the WINDOWS Repair installation to complete-reboot the WINDOWS computer.

    Hello ,

    I’m here to help you in resolving your issue

    Restart Windows Update Services :

    1: Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

    2: Scroll down and find these services:

    Windows Update

    Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)

    Cryptographic Services

    3: Right-click each of them and select Restart.

    4: Try checking for updates again.

    Reset Windows Update Components (Command Prompt)

    1: Press Win + X and select Terminal (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin).

    2: Type the following commands (press Enter after each one):

    net stop wuauserv

    net stop cryptSvc

    net stop bits

    net stop msiserver

    ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

    ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old

    net start wuauserv

    net start cryptSvc

    net start bits

    net start msiserver

    3: Restart your computer and check for updates again.
