I can’t use image properties to turn my picture black and white. That part is missing. How do I get it back?

I’ve tried everything. It was there recently. I used it all the time, and now it’s just gone.

Greetings, Sarah! My name is Arif, and I will assist you today.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with the black-and-white option in the MS Paint application. Could you please confirm if this option was working correctly on your device before?

If it was working fine previously, since when have you been encountering this issue?

Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:

    1. Go to the Microsoft Store, search for "Paint," and check for updates. If an update is available, click on it to update the Paint app. After updating, restart your PC and check if the issue is resolved.
    2. If the problem persists, go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps. Find "Paint," click on the three dots button, and select "Advanced options." Try to repair the Paint app.
    3. If repairing doesn't resolve the issue, consider resetting the Paint app.
    4. If none of the above steps work, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the Paint app.

    Warm Regards,

    Arif
