I am not able to authenticate a created console java application on AZURE AD via device code flow upon generated URL "https://microsoft.com/devicelogin" and code. It says please login with a work/school account, not a personal microsoft account

Although, during app permission setting in Azure AD, I selected : Accounts in any organizational directory (Any Azure AD directory - Multitenant) and personal Microsoft accounts (e.g. Skype, Xbox)
this option.

I just tested it out and it worked for me with Microsoft Account as well. Could you please try capturing HAR file while reproducing the issue and share the correlation and request id from the capture. I will try to track for identifying the issue.
