Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hi. I'm Brian and I'll try to help.
What I'd do in your situation is to disable 2FA first, then change the password. Yes, you'll need to wait the 30 days. That's mandatory.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Unfortunately I recently lost my phone and my account password saved in my password manager is incorrect.
As my phone used the Authenticator app as one of the 2FA methods, I cannot reset my password with just a text code.
I am still signed into my email account from my laptop which is the only access I currently have.
If I start the process of resetting my security info, which has a 30 day waiting period, can I clarify whether I will lose access through currently signed in devices/browsers?
