Sharepoint Library Template

I have been succesfully using the SharePoint template function.

I embedded a PPT template to the SharePoint library that has a template where staff insert slide masters and edit.

It has been working for the better part of 4 months and suddenly it has stopped working and now only loads a blank PowerPoint.

I have tried re-uploading the same file again, making a new file and uploading but it still wont work now.

Has any one got any ideas what I can do to get this working?

I haven't got an example of a picture with it working within the SharePoint app (PowerPoint online) so have included a screenshot of it working within the desktop app. But please note it has been working for many months through PowerPoint online.

This is what it should look like when they select New Slide, even through PPT online.

This is how it now loads, no option to select the different Slide Masters. Its as if it is loading a blank PowerPoint document instead of the template I have created.

Dear Techteacher123,

From your description, it seems that you define the customized slide master via the steps in the article, save the PowerPoint file as a template and upload it to a site library in SharePoint Online. If yes, the customized slide master should be seen in PowerPoint Online when clicking on New Slide. I suggest you scroll down the bar to see if you can find the slide master. Meanwhile, I suggest you open the file in the PowerPoint application from PowerPoint Online, re-add the slide master and open the file in PowerPoint Online to see the result again.

If you create a new template, what’s the result?

Best Regards,

Cliff
