I'm totally guessing but are you trying to follow instructions to use an activX object to always stay in front If so:

A This no longer works even in Windows

B ActivX doesn't work on a Mac

Supplementing John's reply, it's Mac PowerPoint that doesn't have a Developer tab. It is included in Mac Word & Excel. However, some of the tools still are available. Please see this existing conversation on the same issue :  Powerpoint for Mac

    Ok thanks.

Is there another way that you know of to access those features?

I need to make it so an image always goes to the front to matter what.

I am trying to make a template for a client that has an image as a background, then has a name tag that goes over top ( a colour block with text on top). Need to make it so that they can swap the photo and text, but the "name tag" will always be on top by default. Right not I have the text staying on top, but the colour block keeps staying on the background layer.

Perhaps I will make a new question with the above description to see if anyone has experienced this.

I don't think Macs have a Developer Tab
