Home Use Program

Question

I clicked on the email link to connect my personal office 365 to the 'home use program' but I was signed into the wrong account at the time. So now my corporate home use account is assigned to the wrong account. How can I switch it to the proper one?

Thank you for the quick reply.

That is disappointing as I didn't even need to sign in or confirm which account to use with the program. The account that it is now assigned to is a member of a paid family account so I can't use the discount.

When you use your HUP advantages on your account, you'll get free subscription months.

You can't change the account associated with the license.

You will have to contact MS support. They will have to cancel the current HUP subscription and give you a new product key to allow you to activate it using the correct account.

Good luck contacting MS Support. MS is making it really hard to contact live support.

Worst case. Turn off the auto renew on the subscription. Let it Expire. Then buy a new HUP subscription.

Once you assigned an account to the Home Use program, you cannot change the associated account. You will have to use this account.
