If you tick the check box Superscript (or Subscript) in the Find Font dialog and click OK, you can then click Reading Highlight > Highlight All back in the Find an Replace dialog.

Highlighting superscript and subscript at the same time is not possible this way. You'd have to use the Replace tab of the Find and Replace dialog to apply highlighting or other formatting to all superscripted text, then to apply it to all subscripted text.

There is no ^ code for formatting. After clicking More >> in the Find and Replace dialog, click Format > Font...:

In the Font dialog, tick the check box for either superscript or subscript. The other one will automatically be cleared:

Make sure not to tick any of the other check boxes (unless you need to).

Actually, I dont want to change all the superscripts and subscripts in word document, I just want to highlight both of them to compare it in another InDesign document to make sure all the subscripts and superscripts are successfully imported.

    Is there any way?
