I had followed Microsoft instructions on enabling macro on a file and have tried several times to enable macro on a power point file from a source I trust but the macro is still disable. I evened added my source to my internet website trusted sources and still having issues enabling the macro.

How to enable Macro from a source that I trust?

Please help me

    Hello,

You do not need to add the website to Trusted Sites. Office blocks VBA macros in files that came from the internet because the file carries an internet mark. The simplest fix is to remove that mark from the specific PowerPoint file, then reopen it.

Close PowerPoint. In File Explorer, right click the PowerPoint file and choose Properties. On the General tab, look for the Security message that says this file came from another computer. Tick Unblock, then select Apply and OK. Open the file again. If you first see Protected View, select Enable Editing, then select Enable Content to allow macros.

If you do not see the Unblock checkbox, first save a local copy to a folder like Documents or Desktop, then repeat the Properties step. Also make sure the file type is macro enabled, for example .pptm. Macros cannot run from .pptx files.

Try this and tell me what happens. If macros are still disabled, I will guide you through setting an Office Trusted Location for that folder next.
