Create Alerts for shared mailboxes

Hi Team,

Please I would like to know how to create office 365 alerts or notifications when emails are received in a shared mailbox.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I created a rule:

    1. Rules
    2. Create Rule
    3. Check "Sent to" and select the mailbox
    4. Check "Display in the New Item Alert window"

    You could also try creating a forward rule to make the message alert available to the users

    Hi @Roland Okorie

    I see two different options.

    1. You can add the mailbox in your list of favorites items but that will only give you a visual aid (no need to be mailbox owner for that one)
    2. If you are using the Outlook client on Windows and have full mailbox access, you can add an additional mailbox to your Outlook. See this article for help
