Please try the following methods below.
- Update Snipping Tool app
Open Microsoft Store then Click 3 Downloads
Update Snipping Tool or click Update all
- Repair Snipping Tool App
Press Start then Installed apps
Find Snipping Tool in the list then click it
Select Advanced options > Click Reset
- Uninstall Snipping Tool app
Press Windows key + X
Click and Run Windows PowerShell/Terminal (Admin)
Copy and paste the command below then press Enter
get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ScreenSketch* | remove-appxpackage
- Proceed to reinstall Snipping Tool app
Go to the Microsoft Store then download and install the Snipping Tool app
or copy and paste the command below then press Enter
Get-AppXPackage *Microsoft.ScreenSketch* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Restart your computer
